Mad. Never going to achieve anything like his asking price I'm sure - it lacks any sort of cohesion. Also...
The entire collection is valued at approximately £160,000.00
The top 240 items by "value" total £11,307. That means an average of £17 per items for the remaining items, which seems quite high. Given they're going to be overwhelmingly wagons/Dinky cars.
The values he lists appear to be new, his most valuable item appears to sell for less than half what he quotes. Likewise a handful of other cherry picked items - unboxed Triang EM2 for £125? Good luck with that!
Still, he can ask!
If I remember correctly, this lot has been on eBay before. I can not remember what the asking price was, but he obviously did not achieve it.
I seem to remember it was £100,000 last time someone posted it on here. I think that was the middle of last year.
In his ad, does 'MIB' stand for 'Mostly in Bits'?
Or Mad Idiotic Buyer required?
Must invoke brainlessness?
I assume Mint In Box, but I just can't see him getting more than about £10k realistically. It's far too disparate IMO.
