Title: Lego unit, any ideas?
Post by: bob lawrence on December 31, 2019, 02:13:53 PM
I Discovered this Lego battery powered unit in a cupboard during a clear out and haven't a clue what kit it's part of, any ideas? I assume it's from a kit due to the graphics on the side and it's distinctive shape.
It has three black rubber buttons on the top and three red led's at one end. Pressing a button causes the LED's to flash and an intermittent sound to come from the unit. The light sequence and sound changes with each button pressed.

I'll agree with Lawrence on the part number. According to BrickLink, only two sets had that unit in.

The two sets appear to have had different stickers for that part, so with those particular stickers attached to it, I would say that your one is from this set:

Seem to. I know I'm one. Got too many hobbies really. Not touched any of my N gauge stuff for a few months, but have done some Lego building. In fact the last show I went to was a Lego show and not a model railway exhibition.

My Flickr has some photos of some of my Lego models, as well as normal model railway stuff in N gauge and OO if anyone wants to have a look: https://www.flickr.com/photos/52152579@N03/ (https://www.flickr.com/photos/52152579@N03/)

Edit: Decided to start a Lego thread in the 'Other Hobbies' section of the forum in case there are any more AFOLs here that fancy sharing their Lego hobby with others on here; https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=47822 (https://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?topic=47822)
