Title: Airfix 1:72 Dam Busters Lancaster
Post by: guest311 on November 18, 2019, 04:33:52 PM
anyone built one of these and not used the parts for the bomb trolley ?

looking for a number of these heavy duty bomb trolleys for V-bomber dioramas.....

if you have the spare parts, IIRC  tow bar + 4 x wheels + bomb cradle + bomb trolley, and you'd be willing to sell them, please PM  me.

regards
alan

many thanks for the links ....

have some [3] of the airfix trolleys, which would provide a standard, but some of these would work as alternatives.

the bomb trolleys in the Bomber Command re-supply set are too light, I'm afraid, otherwise I'd get another couple of those.

That brings back memories, I built one - but it was a veeeery long time ago.
I did it as the Dambusters version and it survived for quite a while hanging by cotton threads from my bedroom ceiling.

Sorry, I don't even still have the plane, let alone any unused parts.
