can anyone think of a use for these on the layout ? - the locals seem very keen on Gin & Tonics / squirt foam cream, and there are plenty around.

This is a laughing gas cylinder, available from joke shops.

Getting high on this is the latest craze among teenagers.

Similar to the old soda stream cannisters?     I guess how you use them would depend on the size.

Could be used to model bottle kilns, a characteristic industrial feature of the Potteries, Stoke on Trent....if only it was bigger.

It's almost perfect for a fireless engine.
