Ey up! Happy Yorkshire Day to all Yorkshire folk. I hope you are all fair t'middling, ah'm in fine fettle mi'sen.
(And I will be back home in Yorkshire next month for a visit  :)).

I was born in Yorkshire. I live in Yorkshire - for ceremonial purposes apparently. I still didnt know it was Yorkshire Day. I much prefer to think of myself as a Teessider. We call ourselves Smoggies.

I've just spoken to a mate on the phone and he (being a White Rose County chap) informed me it was Yorkshire Day. When I asked him who decided that - "everyone in Yorkshire" came the quick reply ;D
