Facebook did live feeds and Network rail log had profile pics of the cat - looking "happy" at all the attention.
Fire service had a good training exercise but cat evaded "rescue." but was helpfully fed by fire service.
Last plan was an 05.00 obsession to allow fire service access from above.
Good job nothing more serious happens in Saltash or the country given news coverage !

You're not a cat fan, then. Me neither, but I've been in trouble before so I just remain indifferent ;)
And then the flippin' thing walked home of its own accord.
Yup, that's cats.
Perhaps it was searching for Cuneo's mouse...
Yes I had privately wondered about the mouse. In fact very fond of cats and of course it is the prime purpose of the internet to glorify cats !!
I am sure the story will have a purrrfect end , gets coat and leaves stage left !.

Yep, same here. Must admit I didn't think about Cuneo's mouse though.

I forgot that he'd done a painting of the Royal Albert Bridge, so the mouse wouldn't have occurred to me.
We have heard of cats under parked cars, under sheds. Wonder how the cat got up there in the first place.
We have wildlife here than get in through a crack in the pavement.
I'd say a cat is quite capable of getting up there. I know I'm forever going off at the bloke from two doors up about his cat getting under the gate of our backyard and :poop: ing in our backyard
I'm feline it's time to call a paws on this now. :D

Might be difficult if the media decides to purrsue the issue further.
Fur crying out loud, there should a claws in this fur-um to prevent these tails from coming within a whisker of absurdity!
To complete the story - a purrfect ending with the little stop out making its own way home at 23.00 without further assistance from hoomans. - as expected really.
pressing the paws button on this furry tail of feline frolics ....

They have done a very good job of the weathering effects on that bridge, it looks so realisti....Oh! wait....
Hi
Yes sadly yet another fail by our infrastructure operator - so very common and dispiriting.
