Not by Ausy standards, but never the less, I saw 26C on my outside thermometer in the back garden, for a good four hours too, and that was in the shade. Looks like we might get another 3 days of it too, if the weather man is to be believed. Suits me.
Not quite so hot here but very pleasant indeed.
Probably 19C was our tops but always a slight, cool breeze.

With the sun on it mine showed 32 C but I reckon it was nearer 22 C
Here we go again.
Apparently Britain had a heatwave last year - well for information purposes only, it forgot to show up in Teesside. Likewise, today, you might have had temperatures in the 20s but here on the north east coast we managed a mere 10.5!
Kirky
is that the north - south divide politicians are always on about :confused1:
More like an East/West divide caused by the Pennines. Always been a problem for the railway them hills.
Ron
down 'ere in't south today, had to take water for the husky on his walk, don't normally need to do that til summer.
Twas 32 in the backyard at Chez Bealman yesterday. A nice cool Good Friday ;)

We had the bifold doors open in two rooms (kitchen/diner and lounge) and had "chillout room" music blaring out across the neighbourhood from our new audio/visual console as we sat drinking white Rioja to Moloko and other cool vibes. It was probably 20C and a hot day for a Good Friday.
Maybe the beta blockers were doing their job but I was really chilled
The birdcage stock was christened on the layout and all was well with the world. Could have been in Aus apart form the heat, that is :)

I barely went outside. Easter is my favourite 4 days to get house projects cracked off. Long uninterrupted house work days. This year I'm installimg central heating, powered by a wood burner! No gas out by me.
Not fun, as I reckon the loft was easily hitting 35degrees. Glad my layout isnt in there. Guess a 0430 start tomorrow, before it gets hot, would be a good idea.

Sounds like a book, a cuppa, a bickie, and chair under a tree time.
Have had some excellent weather here for the past week. Love this time of year. Also had some showers as a bonus.
Yeah, Easter always has the best weather in Eastern Australia. Currently having an Easter Saturday lunch with all the Bealettes (no mean feat given their wide geographical locations) in the outdoor area of a local pub up the mountainside. :beers:
Enjoy the lunch. Its pretty mild sun out in the uk. Was hot yesterday. Enjoy the lunch with the beal family. Seriously hot later i hear early 20s and at work today
Here on the East Coast of Norfolk the nearest weather station recorded a massive 12c
You'll excuse me if I wrap up warm. We're off shopping in GY..
I put my shorts on yesterday it was that warm, so it's my fault if the rubbish weather returns :D :D :D

Ditto.
I put my shorts on too for the first time since last Summer. It reminded my wife that she needed to buy a couple bottles of milk :D.
Super duper here in 'ampshire. Doors open, dogs sunbathing and waiting for their swim in the local pond later.
Normally rains at Easter and thought I could get loads done on the railway. Will try my best but think cold ciders on the decking will win that battle.
Enjoy if you can everyone.
Cheers weave :beers:
A BBQ has been mentioned for tonight, Estrellas chilling in the fridge............waterproofs it is then :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing: :smiley-laughing:

I tend not to do that in consideration for all those folks who'd be dazzled by the light reflecting off my legs :-[
Obviously a lot had to work yesterday 'cos the roads around here this morning were just absolute :censored: chaos. The M6 northbound was at a standstill for miles so all the
lemmingstourists heading to the Lake District with their wobbly boxes are in for a long hot journey. My sister is returning from Devon on Monday and must have some pressing engagement at home as why she doesn't leave until Tuesday is just beyond me :confused2:
it's 11c in Cromer, wonderfully warm.
not sure it's 100% accurate, but outside thermometer in the shade says 22 degrees here, and I think I believe it from the lethargic and panting husky :smiley-laughing:
my lump of a dog has had enough already

Could have been worse.
She might have thought about buying spaghetti :)
29C today, now I'm too hot

If that was hanging in our place a few January's back, the pointer would have been one click short of the 50 mark.
Your owl would have fallen off the perch - strangely enough our budgie didn't and is still alive today
41 C here in Chiang Mai today.
My home office/playroom is a nice comfortable 29 C thanks to good insulation, ventilation and shade. (no need for the aircon yet).
Hottest I have experienced was Shajah UAE a few years ago in August - 'twas 52 C and I believe was a record for the area. To open the hotel door was like opening a pizza oven. Worse because the hotel was chilled down too cool, so the contrast was greater.
Glorious Tuscany is grey and 14C this morning. I WILL get my coat!! :cold:

my hottest was out in Muharraq in the 70's, 120 in the shade if you could find any, though that was in proper degrees, ie F, not this C nonsense, but was a very comfortable heat, and being an island I seem to remember morning and evening breezes.
came home on leave in the september to 60F in UK, and found it so uncomfortable, clammy.
a totally different sort of heat.
not sure if we'll get that high today.
well just up the coast at weybourne is been a huge 14c
I was working in the garden but in a sheltered spot it was warmmm.
The hottest I've been? Loading radar equipment in the sun in Saudi, officially it was 50C, that's the maximum temperature they ever report, as above that you can cease work.
we put a thermometer on an office chair behind a packing case out of the sun. It went off the scale... 70C..
24C in this area today
gardening? shade ? me, acting guard on a preserved railway and helping the boss and now safely home about to eat a cold chicken salad its 21 where i am
The official temperature today here on the coast of Norfolk 13C,
The actual temperature working building a tin garage, sheltered by 3sides but not from the sun... Too b*****// hot..
