Title: Farish Mk1s & Kato Cases
Post by: Steven B on April 03, 2019, 09:42:20 AM
Kato make a nice range of train cases, big enough to fit between 4 and 12 vehicles in. They're made for Kato's Japanese models but those for 4, 7, and 8 will fit Mk1s (and Mk2, Mk3 & Mk4 - although some trimming may be needed).

Kato 10-215 takes ten models, and 10-216 takes twelve. Does anyone know the dimensions of the slots? Will these two cases take 63' Mk1s?

Kato 10-215 case with British outline coaches, no Mk1s in there but they'd fit fine.

Mk3s are longer than standard Japanese coaches, but should fit into anything Japanese Shinkansens are stored in.
