That kind of thing has been done before. They're HO locos, it's the sort of thing Marklin or Fleischmann would get up to. Marklin have certainly had a bunch of BR143 locos haul a full size coach back in 2007.  I thought the track looked a bit like Marklin stud-contact but that might just be the quality of the video.

I paticipated in one of these in France over20 years ago. We supplied the tank wagon and Minitrix provided the traction.
