I've just moved into the newly-spare room and finally getting into some semblance of order. New off the blocks this week is a rather obscure departmental coach that's too good not to model. It's a former Mk2c BSO, no. 977787 in Dutch livery with Intercity branding. I gather it was used as a staff mess / support coach in the NW and it would be ideal for parking in a siding or running with a few engineering wagons in tow.

Have you got a bigger picture?! ;D
I'm trying to upload something to the ERG website but my FTP's playing up.
There is a bigger one here:

Unfortunately, you can't direct link to Facebook any more...
Well, what do you know...I've been given FTP access, so here it is:

You just beat me to it, I was about to put the picture up. ;D
It looks great, I'd be interested. How much for an RTR?
There were two of these in Red Star livery (red and yellow) for years in the North Bay at Preston station.
They were used as offices for Red Star until Lynx took the company over. They then sat unused for a number of years before they were taken away by road for disposal last year.
I have since been informed that they were observed dumped at Crewe so may still be there rotting in Gresty yard somewhere.
what else have we got to look forward to this coming year captin?
Once the castings are done, I'll be releasing the Class 303, 311 Glasgow Blue Trains and the Mk2-based 310 and 312 units.
Also the LT+S Class 302 with a cast end and hopefully similar treatment for the 307 and 501.
If the GF 4-CEP comes out sooner rather than later, I'll re-work the refurbished sides to fit this as well.

Not to worry, I've just bought one off of Carl. And an NSE Mk1 Buffet.
I have very nearly completed the Class 222 artwork for converting the GF Voyager. It's a slightly more advanced conversion than normal, as the roofs and nose ends need repainting (try getting a vinyl around those...) but is looking very promising.
222101 in Hull Trains colours now on the workbench and will début soon.
seen the pics of this on facebook, very much like the look of it
222101 has taken to the rails - comments welcome

Not my era, but it looks superb! Very nice.
If you get bored, can you do one in Revised NSE, as I had planned to change my Virgin 221 to NSE, as I love my ficticious liveries. Let me know a price if so.
That would be awesome!!!
Sounds like a plan. I'll leave it with you then. It can go nicely with my NSE 125.
Something like this then Chris? ;D

Wowsers! That was quick!!!! ;D BRILLIANT! Let me know when you've done all four and I'll send you the money.
Just checked....mine is a Class 220 - Dapol. Does that matter? I'm not too familiar with the newer models and their differences. :-\
The Hull trains one looks really good, shame its not my area...
Happy to say that the 222 vinyls work equally well on the Dapol Voyager :)
In fact, here's a couple of shots of the EMT version on a Dapol 221

Would be interested in seeing some photos, Tank. Wonder what it would look like in Southern's green, dark green, yellow and white livery or Southwest trains white livery.

Found an image of a Voyager in East Midlands Livery - which is close to SWT. Looks sensational.
I'm happy with my current Voyager Liveries though so probably wouldn't want to change them - only curious about seeing one in Southern

Beautiful.
Hi Adam;
I think the DB logo on the DVT is a bit deeper (almost full body height) and the surround is solid grey/black, not outlined.

Looks the part though....
Later;
STU from EGDL

Duly noted and artwork modified accordingly! The original DB logos were modified from an old artwork, so probably a bit out of date! ;D
As promised...

Following a request from a NSE modeller who shall remain nameless 8), I have just finished off the ex-EPB Sandite cars that were used in conjunction with Class 319s on the MML in the late 80s. Really interesting conversion that had autocouplers both ends, no end pipework and WIPAC headlight clusters.
I'm calling it a day on Electra for the annual summer break and will resume operations from August 20th. During this time I shall be in Spain for two and a half weeks, so won't be answering mails, though may still pop along to NGF now and again!
Another reason for being slightly permature  is due to problems with the cutting machine aligning the cuts properly. I need to take some serious time out to properly sit down and learn the thing and work through a backlog of orders.
Have a smashing break, Adam
(Some people will do anything to avoid the Olympics)
Have fun Adam!
Thank you - I shall indeed!

Haha, same. Had a giggle over that one!

Hey tank, when the 142 arrives, how about this for one of your commissions?

Not tried a 142 yet but have done the next best thing...
Both are on the possible list! ;D
That 153 does look pretty good, would be tempted if I wasnt a regional railways man haha
Adam, how about some nice green and cream liveried mk1s?
And some West coast railway stock?
That doable?
I already do overlays for the West Highland green and cream Mk1s.
For West Coast stock, you'd be best off using the new maroon Mk1s with Precision Labels decals. No point doing vinyls for these when there are better solutions around. :)
:Class91:
I meant that west highland licery without west highland railway on them lol, just green and cream :)
I am sure Adam can have his arm twisted for a minor alteration on a custom order ;)

That would not be a problem at all.
I would love a hood rake of them!
