This is based on a very similar thread on one of the other forums I am a member of; which has proved to be very popular... Quite simply, what have you recently ordered, had delivered to you or purchased model railway wise? It can be anything; locos, stock, buildings, road vehicles etc. new or second-hand...
To kick things off, my latest addition is a Kato model of the JR Eastern preserved D51 steam locomotive - D51 498. The prototype is used frequently on various specials throughout the JRE network...usually in the company of a specially reliveried EF64-1000 electric loco. This model is, in a word, stunning!
This not too brilliant picture sums it up as best it can... :)

That looks like a huge loco! Lovely though. I'll add some when I get home.... Great idea for a thread.
Wow....the detail is as you say..simply stunning
The latest arrivals for my layout were four scart sockets and a dozen DPDT switches.
Not quite as nice to look at as your new loco but they made ME happy ! :D

Indeed! :)
The purpose of this thread is anything model railway related...including sockets and switches ;D
I had 7 new (well used) Royal Mail Mk1's delivered a few days ago. A bargain. I thought I had a picture on here, but it must be on the memory card still. ::)
Picked up the model zone limited edition 24 on saturday from MR Scotland. Which was a good show and far better than last years.
i have a rake of royal train coaches on their way :NGaugersRule:

Must be the season for it. :smiley-laughing: I had a batch of SPST mini toggle switches arrive today so that I can isolate certain areas of track when I need to stop an engine moving

Yes and No :-*
They are based on detailed farish Mk2 and MK3's coaches with electra vinyls
I should be getting my revised Arriva vinyls in the next day or so to re-do the coaches I had off Matt. I also have some more cement wagons on their way to boost my cement rake.
The D51s are a great loco, I had two of them on one of my Japanese Layouts, also had several MicroAce and Tomix models including both 9800 series 0-6-6-0 articulateds, good luck with the new model.
Arrived today from DM Toys is a plough (Marks-9706) and a harrow (Marks-9707).
Both booootifull little models but they cost quite a bit :(
Todays new arrivals are 5 point motors and 3 sets of points kindly donated by one of our members in return for a top-up of tanks beer fund
Went into glasgow today and came home with a non-powered green hymek to accompany my powered blue one.

A class 04 shunter in BR blue. My grandson is really chuffed - he wanted a shunter on the layout.
Just running in my new Farish Jubilee, early emblem version 'Hong Kong'. Got it yesterday at the ally pally show from the bachmann stand..sticker said £69 but Merl let me have it for £50, which was a result. lol

I'm not particularly into US outline, but they look rather impressive beasts!

same here, quite like that first one though
Hi Claude / Michael,
Many thanks the PA locos are smooth with good weight in the chassis both units being powered give good traction for a scale train even on gradients with no worries of making the gradient :)
