Bear in mind that they are referring to temperatures on the fahrenheit scale too - that -15 is -26 Celsius, brrrr.

If we get anywhere near that over here, the Geordies might have to replace their vests with t-shirts ;)

They're a hardy lot up here and tend to 'get their legs out' as long as the temperature is 0 degrees or above, but even the posties have had long trousers on the last couple of days :o

Michigan has declared a state of emergency.  Meanwhile across the river in Windsor, Ontario life is normal, but cold.
