Anyone else unable to get on to RM Web for the last couple of days? I'm getting ''not found'' and ''code 404''.

There was a notice a couple of days ago regarding a system upgrade which probably hasn't been completed hence the no show. Regards Chris

They're updating the software on the server.  Like we had a few weeks back, it always takes longer than you would like!

They also have a twitter account that might help (Andy Y(@RMweb)), last post was 29th which indicated up to a 48 hour outage.

RMWeb has a Facebook page that is regularly updated to how the upgrade is progressing, it's behind schedule.

It's back up and running now - although the new look is quite different.

It's still not working properly and frankly the new look is pants.

Be warned it will take some getting used to!

In fairness, this was a significant update, driven predominantly by security requirements and other necessary updates, which meant this was more of a must do, as  opposed to a nice to have enhancement.

It is a chunky beast, with a large number of registered users and vast amounts of data.

We've had it before with plenty of other forums (there was enough traffic around the emoticon changes on here), and RMWeb certainly gets a lot of grumbles after an upgrade. It will take some time to settle down, but it's getting there.

I remember the furore the last time the UI was changed, so nobody should be surprised there are detractors this time around.
