It would be good if the Daily Mail realised it was a locomotive, not a TRAIN!!

I reckon if I had a mantlepiece big enough to hold that, I wouldn't need to worry about the purchase price...

I don't have £200,000 or a 10ft mantlepiece, but she can come and sit on my much smaller mantlepiece any time :)

Yeah, well he does live in Tokyo.... they sometimes do strange things over there  ;D

It doesn't say if it actually goes. Is it live steam?

The article does describe it as an "exact working replica" but doesn't state what the power source is.
It also refers to various items that would be critical for a live steam model, like safety valves, water gauges, etc.

Whether or not it is live steam it certainly is a heck of a beauty.
