Must admit I quite enjoyed the series, and Serenity movie.

I thought it was a thread about M4A4s.
Disappointed. :(

I loved Firefly (and have the box set) and felt that it should have gotten many more seasons than it got!

However, I won't be buying the encyclopaedia though - I used to buy the Star Trek ones as a kit but they kept on revising it and that got very expensive!

Nice to know that such a book exists should I ever reconsider that though...  :D

I enjoyed the series immensely, the film was a fitting conclusion, if a little brutal.

Incidentally Nathan Fillion (Mal) paid a small tribute to his former role as a "space cowboy" whilst playing the title role in (the excellent) "Castle".

I really enjoyed Firefly too.

In some ways it was a shame it ended so soon but I've always thought it was better it went out on a high (brilliant final episode, possibly my favourite) than having lots of sub-par follow-up series as the writers slowly ran out of ideas.

Yes I am.  Have the box set and, if the wife lets me, I'll watch it if it comes on SY-FI .  My particular favourite bit was where Cobb offered Mal  "Vera", his favourite gun.

Huge fan. Had the Firefly series and Serenity Film on DVD, Bluray and digital download so far. Who knows what the future might bring :D

The River Tam character didn't really have the chance to develop in the series but really shone in the film. Chiwetel Ejiofor was great as the operative, too
