As my wife decorates our tree - a real one as always - this is an opportune moment to wish everybody a very merry and happy Christmas.
Now, where did that little bauble just roll away to as it dropped from the tree as she delicately balanced upon a stool to top the tree with the Angel? :hmmm:
I'll just retrieve it from under the settee before watching her clear up the mess of boxes and cartons and unused tinsel. :)
Christmas cheers everyone! :beers: :beers: :beers:

Basically just a bit of turkey to buy next week - I know you can get potted meat in a jar, but can you get potted turkey? ???
A very Merry Christmas to one and all. :beers:

8.42am Christmas morning at Chez Bealman, sunny and heading for 30 degrees!
Merry Christmas everyone! :beers:
9.47pm, mild and damp (outside) at chez PP.
15year old Glenkinchie to finish off the eveningfor me.
Happy Christmas everyone.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY
Hope you all have a wonderful time. I know I have one SNCF loco coming but think that's it on the railway front.
Was thinking though, that if I get given those horrible thin ridged socks, which I hate and always seem to get, I might see if they could be 'scratchbuilt' into rows of lavender fields. We've got a lovely picture from Provence of them (not the socks) and fancy doing a diorama of it.
Anyway, thanks to all for your great posts and help.
Let's all get drunk and fat!!
Cheers weave :beers:
Merry Christmas to everyone here!
I hope you all have lots of N Gauge goodies in your stockings this morning!
More than that, I hope you all have a Happy, peaceful and safe Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all on the NGF.
As the first day of Christmas comes to a close - there are 12 of them - I hope you all had a good Day One, and have equally good days to come. And thanks to all of you for a your knowledge, willingness to share, and shared enthusiasm for our hobby.
God bless us, every one!
Due to being divorced and my girlfriend's family turning up on different days I have celebrated Christmas 4 times since last Saturday.
Is that a record?
I wish everyone a good rest before the New Year celebrations start.
Joe
We had three Christmas dinners in 2013 one because my brother in law was going abroad for Christmas ,one while on my only ever trip abroad when my son took us to Canada and we stayed with friends in Calgary ,and then a proper one on Christmas Day at home .
Bob Tidbury
How much weight did you put on Bob ? :D
Best regards,
Joe
How were the sprouts this year ?
Was 2018 a good vintage ?
Best regards,
Joe
Joe I put on far too much weight and it was so cold we didn't walk far while in Canada ,Val and me did walk along part of the side of Lake Louise and I WALKED round the skating rink built actually on the lake , but then we decided to go up to our room and warm up we put the tele on and the hotel channel came on with the weather and it was a little bit colder than we thought ,it was minus 35 degrees ,we then walked around the nine shops in the basement of the hotel .

Bravo Bob!
You were probably the only one outside. The locals were enjoying their central heating.
