Title: repair minitrix couplers

i have just recieved a minitrix diesel but one of the couplers is broken are these easy to replace and can i use grafar onesfor this

They should be standard T shank sprung couplers (not NEM couplings).  A Farish equivalent from pack 379-405 should fit if you can't find a Minitrix spare, at most it might need a tiny bit of filing of the T.

many thanks for your help i will give the grfar couplings a try as i have some of those

"Grafar" branded couplings pre-date Graham Farish's use of the standard spring T-shank as far as I recall - they'd probably be the old U-bend design with a ring rather than a T.

Incidentally, does anyone know if there's someone 'out there' who services Minitrix locos? I've got a couple that are basically good but obviously need a bit of tlc?
