Excellent!!!!
We're about to rewrite the rules for this forum actually to hopefully stop members falling out, being rude to people, and from being too opinionated. :)
Smashing Dave :smiley-laughing:
Have you any psychic abilities
Brilliant stuff Dave  thank you for posting
As Tank said, there will be some Changes soon so that the rude and opinionated lobby don't end up ruining it for everyone else and the harmony of the forum. Unfortunately a few individuals have been treating this Forum as a 'wrestling ring' of pointless and non helpful views of late. This will no longer be tolerated going forward.
Many thanks for your post Dave :smiley-laughing:
That was funny, true and informative at the same time!
Thanks for posting.

Yes there have been a few peeps of late throwing their toys out the pram!
Very good vid.
I must admit that there have been a few 'falling outs' recently, however, is'nt this just like real life, as long as people are not offensive, this may be healthy for the Forum.
The only thing I may add is that you expect certain points of view from particular members, if I see their name as the last poster I dont bother opening the thread (a bit of same old same old).
But all in all I find the vast majority of members are courteous, obliging and helpful and I enjoy being involved in the Forum. You know that if we to were to meet in the 'real world' we would get on!

I do agree with you galway, life dosn't always make us see eye to eye. I do think that most people manage to have differing views without being argumentative or contentious. I think the problem i see is the occasions when a perfectly good fun thread is sent off course bacause someone feels argumentative... They are even sometimes agreeing without realizing it!

bet you would not miss with a full magazine thought Mark
Yes. I'm not normally such a bad shot. ;)
'Budgie Rustling' - was that not the invention of the great Mike Harding? Is he still on the go or did he fall foul of the 'PC brigade'?
But I do agree with some of the previous posts in this topic regarding some of more recent the replies in various topics. A little bit of courtesy doesn't cost much, even if the poster maybe doesn't agree with some of the previous comments. Also we should remember that the written word doesn't necessarily convey the authors intended meaning - facial expression/vocal intonation are all missing here so it could be quite easy to mis-read something.

I agree with Paul, I joined this site (having experienced treatment on another much more 'R'obust 'W'ebsite but I won't go there!) as this was described as 'the Friendly Site'. It has lived up to this reputation so far as far as I am concerned, hope it continues as such.
That's a really good point Eddie. It is quite possible that people dont realise how their post can be heard when others read it without all those normal cues. I think a good re-read will often make you realize what you write is ambiguous or could be misconstrued.
Having said that, many posts are notbeing misconstrued at all! The mods will be working hard to keep this a cheery and helpful place.
