Must remember to get up tomorrow morning at 3am. ;)
But I'll set the alarm. I'm into that stuff but the moon going red doesn't really excite me. Seen at at least six of them.
But the sky is clear, so yeah, I'll have a look.
Rain, clouds, bah, humbug!
Did that article get the time right?
I was awake at 3am but lay in bed until 3.27 before venturing out into the cold night air. The moon was there alright, but is sure wasn't red!
So I went back to bed, freezing. :(
You needed patience George
I got up at 5:15 am to see 80% of the moon in shadow, by 5:30 it was in complete shadow and by 6:15 it was in deep complete shadow (i.e. dark red) and then the dawn started to break and mucked it all up.
Ah well, only three years until the next one ::)
forgot to set the alarm, next doors dog woke me at 7:30 tooo late. Will have to catch the next one.
This is the reality in the UK.
