Title: Rails of Sheffield secondhand section
Post by: Kipper on February 17, 2012, 08:25:44 PM
Has anyone been to Rails and asked to see the secondhand section (as per their magazine adverts)? Is it worth me taking a few miles trip up there, or should I save my diesel? ???

Seen as i work at Rails i'll give my view on our second hand section.

If you are after Loco's then i'd save your petrol/diesel as all second hand locos get put on eBay. But we do have a fair few coaches and wagons of various makes and models.
There is a wide range of buildings and accessories in all scales. There is also a large collection of books.

So without appearing biased i'd say its definitely worth a visit to have a look at what we have in. :)

Ollie,

Are you going to be in the shop on Tuesday???

As I am making a trip northwards to Wakefield and have managed to convince my travelling colleagues to make a diversion via Sheffield.

Regards

Neal.
