Title: Email notifications
Post by: Papyrus on February 26, 2018, 05:39:33 PM
My email notifications habitually turn up in my spam folder, which I gather is not unusual with MS Outlook. This doesn't worry me, but today I noticed they came with a warning that 'this may be a phishing scam' and to be careful when opening it. I'm sure the forum isn't phishing me, but I'd quite like to know why it is happening.

Cheers,

Chris

I've been having this as well in the past week or so, but not with every notification weirdly. Outlook only thinks that some of them are scams; there's no obvious pattern to it.

Looking on Outlooks help pages didn't offer any help either :(

Its jsut problems with the algorithms  I have been sending out 198 emails o subscribers every other month for about 6 years now and recently my account was suspended because outlook identified that I was sending out spam.
Microsoft are trying to clean up the internet but sometimes get it wrong.

This issue seems to have sorted itself out now thankfully. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Same here! My notifications are also now turning up in my inbox, as God intended. Thank you to whoever tweaked it.

Cheers,

Chris
