Title: The really useful Thread
Post by: OwL on February 06, 2012, 08:26:29 PM
Really useful thread is something that you have found that you think may benefit others in some way. It can be anything (Non N Gauge though, as we have threads for this sort of stuff) but it must be LEGAL.

Examples are that you may have come across a car park in your home town that offers all day cheap parking.
or
You may have heard about a free offer in the press that you feel may benefit people here, such as a resturant chain offering free food or the like.

Explain what you have found, and how it may help someone out, put as much detail as you can.

This thread is designed to help people, so please no bogus or false information

Thanks (and I hope it benefits someone out there )

Freecycle is a superb group  covering most of the country  click on  your area  here or type in  your postcode.  to  save  filling landfill  with useful  items others can find a home for or if your looking for  something  contact them   one mans junk   is anothers treasure as they say & it's all   recycled in the process   ;)

You'll   need  to  register in your local area   to post  .......  one thing dont tick the box to  recieve emails of replies to   posts as it will  fill  your email  inbox very quickly & constantly.

This is only useful if you use one (or more) of these padlocks:

If you do use one (or more) this video is on You Tube for all to see  :o

Easily Hack a Combination Lock (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9ICkEGCWf4#ws)

I think you might want to change your padlocks

cheers John.

Basically I can't cook and now my wife is ill and can't stand to do cooking we've been having meals from these people.
They're not the normal TV dinners that you get from the supermarket and are quite tasty, plenty of variety as well.Delivered to the door FOC.

So for anyone on their own,or who can't cook they're a godsend.
