Title: Midland Pullman
Post by: Dalek on December 29, 2017, 01:32:34 PM
Seen the price of this drop on the run up to Christmas, i missed out on the first batch and i guess no retailer is still going to have any of those origional ones anymore, well that i've found anyway. Not that bothered about the "valuable extras" in the current offering, doesn't seem to add up cost wise compared to the older model, i apreciate the extras costs in production though. Does anyone think the current version might get any cheaper than the current pricing ?

When the original (371-740) came out I got it from Rails at £205. Now it's £295.
I'd say go for it, but just don't ask me to refund the difference if it goes lower!

As an aside, I saw a trader about 3 years ago trying to sell the 371-740 for £450. When I suggested he look at prices on t'internet as a comparison he got quite antsy, but I was told next day he'd reduced it to £350 ::)

don't forget that you get TWO powered power cars with this, unlike HST sets with only one
