Title: Farish class 40 sound - what's in the box?
Post by: kirky on December 28, 2017, 12:44:33 PM
Hi guys
My 40 has only one bag of bits. Is this correct?
It seems to me there are some head code discs missing unless they are an extra. Just wondering what other people got in their boxes?
(I have got a bag with a grill and some pipes in it)
Cheers
Kirky

The sound one is split headcode. The only bits which came with mine are some additional pipes, the "frost" grills (I know that they actually aren't that, but it's how they are normally described!), and a DCC blanking plug.

There's no reason why there would be discs with this model as it's not a headcode-disc variant of the Class 40 - I assume that the D211 model has them (as it should), and they have used the same instruction sheet for all of the models.

Thanks for that David.
Much appreciated.
