Title: Shortages
Post by: Blackbird1137 on December 05, 2017, 07:51:42 AM
Is it me, or does there seem to be a distinct shortage of rolling stock items available at the major retailers? Specifically eras 4 and 5.

I can't say as I have noticed but, then again, I've not been looking at anything but 'sale' or 'bargain' items. Is there something specific you're looking for?

No... - There's more available for eras 4 and 5 than any other...  :hmmm:

Absolutely no offence intended and I apologise for any teaching of sucking of eggs, but have you had a look on Hattons?

You may have some specific things in mind, but to my (Era 8 ) eyes, the Hattons filter system for Era 4 and 5 delivers a fair selection of results in coaches and wagons for Farish and Dapol. Stock levels seem fairly healthy as well, unless you require 20-30 if the same wagon?

Agree with Skyline, just looking at Hattons, 61 varieties of coach for eras 4/5, 42 different diesel locos, 86 different steam locos and 72 different wagons.

Not really a shortage is it?
