Post by: swanmark on February 21, 2011, 05:42:05 PM
Hi Guys, I have just bought my first set, its digital and I cant wait to get it, I was hoping to have an n gauge with sound but they seem very expensive, I have bought a FLEISCHMANN jubilee set with 2 trains etc, can these be fitted with sound or is it a dificult and expensive way of doing it, is it cheaper to by a loco with sound already fitted. thanks guys

It might just be possible to fit a sound decoder in the Class 140, but I doubt if there's any room in the Class 86. They both might need sound decoders fitted in permanantly coupled stock.

I've only fitted a drop in replacement sound decoder board in a US loco. You'll need to do some research.
