Title: 4-CEp to 4-BEP
Post by: greenlaneman on May 30, 2017, 12:48:00 PM
What existing Farish/Bachmann buffet (TRB or TRSB) coach can be used to substitute for the trailer second in a 4-CEP to make it into a 4-BEP?

I do not think any of the Farish coaches match, but there was an RMWeb topic where someone was making the buffet for the 00 gauge Bachmann one. Gives a guide to the window layout if you wanted to make your own sides. An RU might give the right impression.

Electra Railway Graphics and BH Enterprises have listed the 4BEP at various times, but not a regularly stocked item.

Hi the least "offensive" option is the RMB as buffet was placed in part of a second open coach. The kitchen ought to be bigger but the RB model has more wrong windows than right, if that makes sense!

Hopefully and despite Bachmann curtailing some N wagon production and seemingly stalled on MK2s we will see the BEP in fullness of time !
