A certain someone on here seemed to get a little dewey eyed reminiscing about the rake of Staniers he sold to me.
So whilst test running a second-hand "Hong Kong" that I bought for a very reasonable price I thought I'd make a little video for him.
@newportnobby (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=264) this Jube's for you.
taken a few seconds before the cat attacked? :smiley-laughing:
Sorry about that, the station cat was getting a bit yampy. He's pretty good, he leaves the train alone when it's moving, it's only when it's stationary it's at risk.
:D
Thanks for the vid but, yes, my cat would have taken the lot off with one blow of a paw!
Yes, saw puss in the video.... a CATastrophy avoided!
I'm starting to understand why you're in Australia!
:smackedface:
:laughabovepost:
It's good to see Nobby's rake has gone to a good home.
Crimson and cream is my favourite livery.
Great loco, too. :thumbsup:
I seem to have developed a fetish for Jubilees (five and counting). I picked up this one "Hong Kong" on ebay for £62. It's a little grubby and the name plates have been put on badly, but it runs like a dream. It'll be getting a repaint into something non BR hopefully, that should sort the grime and the plates. I've got Rodney in BR green and may have another Hong Kong coming.
:D
