While browsing Fleabay I noticed a seller with mainly OO stuff, but he had a couple of Del Prado 'N' models that had been severely weathered to scrap yard status (the steam engine even had a tarp modeled over it), so my question is has anyone modeled an active scrap yard with a deadline, rusted rails, trash strewn all over etc?
I tried searching but didn't come up with anything
I'm not aware of anything but its and interesting idea to use up all the locos which have no further use. Might give that some thought for my layout.

Abandoned locomotive and shed, Konake Timber Co. Ltd. (In liquidation), showing burnt-out Company offices, and locomotive No. 3 (Baldwin 1917), together with dscarded machinery. As it is currently 'For Sale for redevelopment', the future of this site is uncertain, although it is hoped that both locomotive No.3 and Locomotive No. 1 (parked at the rear of the shed) will be preserved.
