I'm sure Snowwolflair put out a similar post earlier but can't find it to reply to.
I am getting frequent blocked outgoing messages using Chrome when viewing the forum.

I've done a search on oocities.org and it seems to be a legit website but- very odd.
:beers:
I'm looking at his post right now, thanks for what you've said.
Interesting - I have posted a couple of image links that come from that site. oocities is a harvested cache of the old geocities system. Should be direct image links to jpegs, not html pages, so should be no html or javascript etc. involved.
Many years ago I set up a club website on geocities, and I can still find images from those pages on oocities.
If it's causing malware alerts, I guess I need to find the original images and upload to my personal site for linking here.
This is my most recent post with such an image:

Our company systems are pretty hot on such things and I notice they block a lot of hosted images on this forum put up by others, but they're not complaining about the oocities image links.
Wow...
Hows that for team work??
:claphappy: :beers:
Fairy nuff, though I think that block is aimed more at the other crud that site seems to include /overlay in web pages :veryangry: The direct image links are clean.
I need to recover those old photos and put them somewhere else anyway.
Just a thought, but are peoples' computers that don't have antimalware/virus protection likely to have been compromised by all this?
:hmmm: :beers:
