I would just like to say what a great forum this is. So many threads to read and learn from (although it's a long job) :) So if i reply to a thread or post that was put on years ago forgive me, there is so much information one can get from reading the threads and posts and i for one have so much to learn and get pleasure from this great hobby.
:thankyousign: for a absolutely brilliant forum.
Its good to hear that you are enjoying it.
I find it a great forum too.
Plenty to discover and enjoy.

Same for me, without the (fountain of knowledge/support/encouragement/camaraderie) i probably would have given up. I was at a really very low ebb what with work and health + a lot of backstabbing from elsewhere, until i looked at this forum and saw how the members treated each other, so i joined and now my interest has increased to what to do and learn more.
:thankyousign:
PS How do you tag some one.
@Steamie+ (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=5847)
Just use the ampersand, no space, name of person to be tagged. As you start typing the name, a list will come up.
And I have to agree with wot you sez about the forum
The @ symbol, not the ampersand.
@dannyboy (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=4209) just sent you a PM David, but done it now :thankyousign:
Sorry Steamie, and thanks NGee. I blame the fact that I am working nights and have been here since 7pm last night, (that's my excuse & ( ;D) I am sticking to it!). :beers:

This is no bad thing, I've had a couple of interesting threads brought to my attention through people doing that
+1 from me. Plus a shout out for the Facebook pages.
I agree Steamie! Great bunch and always willing to help , haven't been a member long myself :NGaugersRule:

Where, what have you spotted I have missed? :D  :-X
Surely the only stuff between the waffle should be clotted cream!

Clotted Cream on Waffles !!!!!  You'd be lynched down here for suggesting that. Clotted cream goes on SCONES not waffles (and don't forget the jam which goes on before the cream - for some very strange reason in Devon they put the jam on top of the cream :confused1:)

Us emmets can never be correct that far west. :laugh3:
Seems i have started a friendly thread, oh well put strawberry jam on porridge, the real stuff not that rubbish you heat up in the microwave lol.
Mmmm Porridge, another delicacy that is hideously expensive in the land of pasta.
Post Brexit we will probably have to become porridge smugglers.
Jerry
Steady on Jerry that word might be deemed too political! !!
Not if it has no opinion or conjecture attached to it, which it doesn't

Never knew porridge was political. :confused1:
Okay, so I know the other word was being referred to but it was just the way I read it. :D
In defence of porridge, I can conservatively state, without opinion or conjecture, that I liberally partake every day, labouring to bring the independent elements of milk, oats and salt into a union of cooperative gloop that I eat with unrestrained pleasure for both supper and brexit.
Strawberry jam on porridge ,Grrrrrr.

I hope you don't have your greens with that :)
When I was a teenager in the NE of England, some bright young entrepreneur (who obviously was the original yuppie) persuaded Quaker Oats to bring out strawberry porridge.
The sad thing was I liked the stuff. :uneasy:

@scotsoft (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk/SMFN/index.php?action=profile;u=461) An unfortunate spelling of penal, John??
:D Grabs thread by the throat and wrenches it severely back on topic again...
I agree that this forum is one of the best. The main problem is that I spend far too long reading other people's rubbish contributions and I forget to do any modelling... :confused1:
Cheers,
Chris
