Title: 14th Feb., St Valentines day
Post by: jonclox on January 08, 2012, 07:45:34 PM
With St Valentines Day approaching (14th Feb) I thought one or two members might like to consider giving SWMBO a pair of these to keep her sweet......

1 pr. per year should be enough tho

Hmmm.... don't think my pocket money would stretch to that. SWMBO has her birthday on 13th February.

She didn't tell me that when we started dating.

Mine failed to communicate that her birthday was ALSO Valentines' Day. You only get one chance to really screw up every year!

Ah yes the joy of commercialisation, four sittings slammed through restuarants on fixed menus and cheap overpriced tat for the market. Pssh...

Fortunately we have St Dynwen's day around here which the natives prefer and which is conveniently set apart from pink tat week.

Don't you think I know that! And what makes you think either is optional??

Admittedly I get away with more than murder on a daily basis. But there is a cost, you know .........

........ on the other hand they're all back to work tomorrow.

Peace, perfect peace.

I'm not going to comment too much, It is also my wedding anniversary  - some of us were romantic once - plus it's only one date to remember. ::)

8) I work on the basis that there are 365/6 days and all of them are special because you never know how many are left. I just have to remember to tell the wife that not just think it.

All being back at work tomorrow doesn't help here - working from home has its drawbacks/advantages.

Gotta agree with you there EP, every day a blessing.

On the work front - wife and kids attend school in one way or another. And I experience that nirvana sought by many - 6 hours a day to waste as I please!

Almost finished the house move "got to do's".

It's almost "Layout Time"!
