Title: Tagging
Post by: Newportnobby on September 16, 2016, 10:11:19 PM
For those who don't know this, if you put your tag in brackets it doesn't do what it says on the tin.
So (@newportnobby) won't work.
I hope this helps those who like to use the rather useful tagging system.

Which of course begs the question.... why did you put it in brackets, Mick? Sounds like you had a Bealman moment   :D

@newportnobby

Or do this.  :P

Basically everyone can start typing a message with the '@' symbol and as you type their name immediately after (no space) their name appears in a box to select.

It's a way of drawing that person's attention to a particular post. They get an e-mail to advise them they've been 'tagged'. It was all explained fully here:-
