all of my grass is done with a guagemaster pufferbottle (made by noch) i found theres a knack to it, fill it to the line on the bottle give it a really good shake, then raise it up and squeeze as you  come back down firing the fibres at the glue and they should perform as intended and stand up,,,,, once i perfected it large areas can be done quite quickly and efficiently with the bottle,,,,

Can I ask what length/brand of grass you're using ? All I've seen is 2mm long stuff which equates to 12" blades in N gauge.

I`m not impressed with mine and would like to say that if you have any sign of breathing/ chest trouble be sure to wear a good facemask at all times.I didn`t just once and suffered for several weeks after its use

Well thanks for the advice  As it's mixed opinions I'm unsure about the product but maybe worth a gamble at less than a fiver.

Hi Rob,

I use one of these puffer bottles and am quite pleased with the results. I use a mix of different shades and brands of static grass.

As Fratton states if you get the knack right it's quite good.
