It's a funny idea ! What do you think about it ? All your replies are welcome.

An excellent demonstration of the superiority of N ;)

As Squiddy says, good illustration of why you should go with N.

On an historical note, there was a museum display based upon Berwick on Tweed in an early 1960s issue of RM. It featured perspective modelling, with 00 running at the front, TT gauge in the middle and what was then 000 running across the border bridge at the rear of the model.

An interesting idea, but as it stands not exactly 'compatible', but then 'hybrids' rarely are. FWIW, IF (and only 'if'), the modeller really wanted to use OO with N, then using the OO-scale trees and scrapping everything else OO would have been a good start, at least IMHO... :)

Or of course (and I know that you know a lot about this, Komata ), if you want dual gauge, go down the narrow gauge route of 009 with 00 gauge, or Z with N gauge. At least one forum member has combined Z with N very successfully.
