Title: TINGS September 2016
Post by: petercharlesfagg on August 14, 2016, 12:56:37 PM
Friends, I am hoping to to be healthy enough to visit TINGS but there are a few things that I WILL NEED!

First and foremost it will be transport to and from my home (Sunday only)

The loan of someones car keys to enable me to rest as and when I need it ,15 minutes is my average standing period.

Then of course some transport home would be MOST welcome because I will be shattered.

If there is anyone willing to help, please contact me ASAP!

Warmest regards, Peter.

PPS I am not intending to stay for the whole day only 3-4 hours!

I would suggest you contact the organisers
I am quite sure they would let you use the venues facilities

Sorry, Peter. I'd be happy to oblige but am only attending on the Saturday.
Gutted we can't meet up, too. :(

There are usually chairs along the sides of the hall so you can rest there.

Peter, have you tried one of these,

I wouldn't be without mine,  something to support you when walking, and when you need a sit down it's there. Most of them have a basket or box under the seat can save you having a bag slung over your shoulder or round your neck. I've managed to find a small cool box that fits which is handy for snacks and drinks.

Mine stays in the back of the car, some of the residents in this retirement flats block use them indoors as well.

Hi Peter

I've sent you a PM, if you need my help.  I just bought my ticket online this afternoon.  I'll be there on Sunday.

I'll be going on Sunday, coming from the south on the M40, if that is of any help.

Peter I'm in Bristol so I'll pretty much be passing Banbury on my way up. I'm going Sunday so the offer of a lift with me is there if you need it.

Ow and a lift back again of course :-)
