Hi guys,
Currently building a few of TPMs excellent VDA and VCA van kits, but struggling with transfers.
I have sourced railfreight and RFD transfers, as well as the usual OHLE flashes etc. What I'm really struggling to find at TOPS data panels with correct VDA/VCA codes and running numbers.
Anyone got any ideas? I've looked at the usual suspects, Fox, Railtec etc but cant find what I'm looking for.
Any help gratefully received.
cheers
Hi
have you looked at the Precision Decals custom made sets? - http://www.precisionlabels.com/d19c.html? (http://www.precisionlabels.com/d19c.html?)
You can choose the numbers you wants

Great find!
A little pricy, but not bad considering they are custom.
In the absence of anyone finding off the shelf TOPS panels for these vans, I'll go with these.
Thanks!
As I recall when I did a few of these some years ago, Fox do sheets of blank TOPS panels plus the individual letters. It's fiddly and time-consuming, but it can be done!
Hi
Fox packs F2140 to F2143 are the blank panels with individual letters and numbers.

Hi
I have a feeling ModelMaster also did some for either the VCA or VDA but I cannot remember which. I can check my transfer stash this evening and let you know.
Edit Modelmaster sheet 2907 Air Braked Vans contains
VAA, VBA,
VDA & VGA but not VCA.
Cheers
Paul
Great stuff guys. Modelmaster transfers are good quality and great value for money (I have several of the NGS sets) but I wasn't aware they did any specific VCA/VDA sheets.
Incidentally, Bernard (TPM) still has some of the VCA/VDA kits in stock (no weights though) so for those wanting any, get them while they are still around!
Modelmaster sheet 2907 is out of stock at the NGS Shop. PM sent to OP regarding this.
As for VCAs I cannot remember how I did mine but it was probably a cut n shut job. I certainly didn't start from scratch with blank TOPs panels from Fox like I had to with my ZRAs (VCAs in departmental service).
