I have recently acquired a Blue/Grey inspection saloon, and have detailed on end with pipes and dangly hook, and the plain hook at the other end. I still have two unidentified bits of plastic and I can't work out where they are meant to go!
Anyone got any pointers?

Got a picture of the pieces by chance?
I could do that! I'll upload pictures later today!
I've got an inspection saloon and don't remember it having any extra bits.... must take another look in the box! :hmmm:
You should have four parts
Dummy Hook and Screw Coupling (used when you have removed the standard coupling)
Dummy Hook (used when you use the standard coupling)
Vacuum Pipe curved, fitted in the left hand hole
Steam Pipe L-shape, fitted in the right hand hole
As you have a blue/grey inspection saloon and compare, it should not be fitted
That just leaves the ETH cable, which is NOT included

Anyone?
I recall a page or two in the NGS journal some month's (pre GH ?) ago on fitting these 'nasty' bits ;)
nmmm... mine seem to be the mystery bits from the end there... anyone able to confirm that there umny holes for these on the blue livery version?
Wow, great pic. You take that, Colin? Interested in the location.
Thanks!
I guess the other one is an older style lamp.
I'll probably just leave it off for now.
