Title: RIP Dave Swarbrick
Post by: port perran on June 03, 2016, 07:53:22 PM
Very sad to hear of yet another great musician passing away.
Dave was a member of Fairport Convention - the hugely influential folk rock group of the late 6os/early 70s.
He will be sadly missed.

A huge shock to me, having been a fan of him and Fairport since my teens.
Sleep well, Dave :goodbye:

Sorry to hear. I too was a big fan back in the day. I think I may still have that Unhalfbricking album somewhere.

Last time I saw him, he was in a wheelchair. Still playing though!  Sad loss.....
