It seems to be happening more frequently that I get chucked off the forum to a page that just states "The www.ngaugeforum.co.uk (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk) page isn't working. www.ngaugeforum.co.uk (http://www.ngaugeforum.co.uk) didn't send any data"
A quick click on 'Refresh' takes me back into the forum.
Does anything similar happen to others or is it just my 'Opera' browser playing up, d'you think?
NPN,
I get this too, on Chrome on a PC then after a few secs it moves to the page I wanted. Seems to be at high usage times ie evenings or w/ends. :hmmm:
Regards
Baz
"Network connection interrupted" is the message I get. Don't worry, it ain't you, it's the forum playing up a little. "The delivery of this webpage was cancelled as a driver could not be found".
I have not had problems with this site but on odd occasions my browser has failed to go to others. My solution is to have a second browser that invariably will immediately go to the failed site. Worth a try?
Delboy.
Happens frequently here. Also, sometimes takes a while to load up new forum pages.
:beers:
All pretty much OK here .
All working OK here in sunny Surrey.
I thought the only time people got chucked off was by the moderators..... ??? :veryangry:
I too am getting messages such as "The website took too long to respond", "Network connection interrupted" and "Didn't send any data". It gets a bit annoying at times, but the "Network connection interrupted" does happen with other sites occasionally, so I can not really blame NGF . It seems to have got a lot worse over the last few days though.

Yes I think it is getting worse.
:beers:
I'm not having any problems with the Forum on my IPad but when I'm on Facebook the IPad takes ages to load and sometimes just shuts down for no reason.

Thanks, folks. I'm glad it's not just me, not that it's much comfort to you.
I don't have this issue with any other site :confused1:
I've also had the problem on an odd occasion, doing a page reload usually sorts it out but I have reported it so it will be in hand.
Thanks for letting me know. I get it very occasionally, and I thought it was just on my work connection. Keep me posted if it happens for the next couple of days please. :worried: It's been behaving for so long!!!
Looks like you'd all better move downunder.... everything fine here on me phone, tablet and PC. 8)
As Caz says, she has officially reported it and Tank is monitoring the situation.

I get it very sparingly, usually in the middle of the night here, which I take to be early morning hour server work happening. I normally browse from my iPhone (safari browser) and don't have much trouble, but can't speak to other browsers as I use them only when uploading more than a few files.
And to be fair, NN, what other site do you visit as much? ;) (Not a criticism, I think you know how much I value your input on here!).

No other site as long as the NGF but I do check the forum and my Yahoo e mail at least once a day, Philip.

It's certainly my most frequently visited site too (by a ratio of probably 50 page visits to every 1 on any other site!). :) And on that note... I should probably click the PayPal 'donate now' button in the side bar ;)
