I think he was one of those 'love 'em or hate 'em sort of personalities, but still sad to hear it this morning :(
He could be a crabby wee man, I saw his stage show a few years ago with Debbie and son
Martin and the illusions were incredible, not like seeing a magician on tv.
He lived quite local to me and I served him and Debbie a couple of times very nice couple , even the rich and famous shop in Argos sometimes another regular customer was Pauline Quirke again very nice to talk to , she has a sort of drama workshop just down the road from where my daughters partner works.
RIP Paul,I'm sure you will work your magic in Heaven.

Very true NPN - I am one who is on the 'liked him' side of the house...
Thanks for the fun Paul...
Sad loss and much loved magician RIP Paul.
A true genius where magic was concerned
Rest in Peace brilliant man
RIP 'Teddy' , great grumpy neighbour - born in my home town, sold broken biscuits on local market , run the local shop, then found stardom and wasn't ashamed to tell he was a Slaggy Islander .
