Title: Farish Coach Mk1 first missing interior (china build)
Post by: Fredastaire on March 16, 2016, 11:40:55 AM
Can anybody comment and advise? Ive a Royal Scot train set by Farish (china build), which i'm using as part of a much larger layout. I'm going to add carriage lighting and more coaches to the rake. Ive just bought a Farish 'first class' carriage (China build), to add on and note that there is no interior seats at all. the carriage doesnt appear to have been split open (I guess they are glued?). As i'm to add carriage lighting i'm wondering if this carriage might illuminate oddly with having no interior. Is this spec normal or has somebody removed the interior? does anybody have a scrap coach to donate an interior? kind regards from Fred

I bought several of the China made printed side Mark 1's brand new and some of them did indeed come without interiors, which I found extremely disappointing.  I think I still have them somewhere and ought to get round to selling them.  I've replaced them all with the new re-tooled versions now.
