Title: Free to a good home.
Post by: OwL on March 13, 2016, 01:53:24 PM
I have the following for free (to a good home)

Magazines:

-GWR journal from winter 2012.
-Heritage Railway mag April 2005
-Steam railway mag Jan 2005

-x3 modern railways mags, oct2015, Jan 2007 & Dec 2012.

-Traction magazine 2008/9 Annual.

Just PM your address and what mag you want and I will post out to you. First come first served. Free postage, I just can't bear to see stuff like this in the recycling when someone else can enjoy it as I have👍

Cheers

If you don't get any takers how about dropping them into doctors/dentists surgeries so they can replace some of the parchments normally left on tables to be read?

Last time I went to the 'Fang Farrier' (Dentist), the reading matter on offer was more 'hello' magazine. I feel the patrons of my local Dentist seem more interested in 'The only way is Essex' than the Great Western Railway whilst waiting for the drill.  :o

A grim but probably very accurate reflection on society ::)

Our former family doctor used to have the "Vie de Rail", which is the main French railway magazine, in his waiting room.

Best regards,

Joe

Are there any dentists on the forum who would like to add a bit of variety to their patients reading habits out there? (Or anyone else for that matter?) Totally free of charge. :moony:

Doctor's surgeries now refuse old magazines because of " Elf'n safety' reasons
