Looking for cheap ideas for a method of removing the smell of glues as some paints and solder
My modelling is done on the dining room table and I currently have to open a window before I can carry out these tasks - not good when cold and damp etc.
Light a candle .....
Something like this? Soldering fume extractor (basically a portable version of a cooker hood fan with better filters)

I invite my sons' glue-sniffing friends around for a party.
Best regards (with tongue in cheek),
Joe
Proably not a bad idea.... I've been breathing in solder fumes for 55 years now and it hasn't done hasn't done hasn't done me any harm any harm any harm at all.
Joking apart, precautions when dealing with fumes, micro-particles, etc. are important in our hobby.
I knew a guy who used to melt lead to make his own fishing weights.
Everything was fine until he reached about 65 years of age when the effects started to show.
Best regards,
Joe
Looks like I'm sunk next year then, unless I lighten up ;)
Time to switch to unleaded beer George :(
Best regards,
Joe
look in skips for a cooker extractor unit / chat up local builder/kitchen shop
