Sirs,
Whilst perusing the February 1964 issue of Railway Modeller (https://archive.org/details/RailwayModellerFebruary1964) ("For the average enthusiast"), upon closer examination of the letters page I was tickled to see this contribution from Mr. M Hull of Kidlington, from which I surmise that our relationship with modellers of the larger scale (apportioned the appellation "'Orribly Oversized" by some wags) has barely progressed over the previous half-century.
