Title: RIP Jimmy Bain
Post by: Sprintex on January 24, 2016, 09:43:42 PM
The former bassist with Rainbow and Dio has passed away age 68.

Big fan of Dio, "Holy Diver" is one of my favourite albums  :headbang:

RIP Jimmy. Someone somewhere is forming one hell of a supergroup!

Actually, I listened to everything from Bill Haley and his Comets to the Beatles via Luxembourg and wherever else, still got miles of 1/4" tape in the attic,
till I left the UK in '69 for Brazil, where even the World Service had difficulty ( despite my services at Daventry )
there was too much else interesting to do that the 'music scene', even if it had been available, was of little consequence , ,
as a result when I returned even Bowie et al made no sense and passed me by !
