My old faithful 24v Bosch cordless passed out on me today :'( Well, it has been repaired by me MANY times over the years I've had it so I decided I needed to 'man-up' and spend some ££
This is what I've just ordered (we use Makita kit at work and it's WELL proven) :-

Should last me another ten years I reckon :D
I've had a Makita cordless drill for the past 20 years or so. The cordless drill is one of those pieces of equipment that is a life essential. My Makita is still just fine and gets stacks of use, although I've had to replace the battery packs a few times, but this is no big deal.
Webbo
I bought a dual set - drill and screwdriver. The driver is basically a drill without the torque settings. As Webbo says, been through 2 batteries and about to get a third, but not bad in 20 years and they have had some use in laying decking, floors, building sheds and fences.
