We've just got a tree in the Manorial Hall :smiley-laughing:
Know what you mean about SHMBO the list for me has been started, but I have spied a few train books lurking in the wardrobe that should not be there.
Yes Merry Christmas to all.
And a merry christmas to all from me too.
Not getting any train stuff for crimbo, cos I've spent eleventy million n gauge pounds already.Just finished work till after crimbo so I'll do some layout work, play trains, watch telly, drink some beer,do some shopping, play Xbox 360,sleep,eat loadsa food and other things I.don't care to mention.
I will be keeping abreast of goings on on here so I won't be disappearing.
Merry Christmas
Pete :NGaugersRule:
Merry Christmas to everyone too!
I'm hoping to actually get to do some modeling while I'm off, can't wait. Will raise a glass of cheer to the forum and a big thanks to Tank and the mods for making this such a great forum!
Graham
I wish all 800+ forum members a very Happy Christmas and hope Santa brings you all that you wrote on your list
I finish work on the 21st and don't return till the 3rd so have lots of luvverly time to start the layout (mind you, we have to keep 5 days holiday entitlement every year to have this hols :() Track laying tools at the ready - let me at it :)
:beers:
Merry Xmas to all :beers:
Cudders
Christmas means the start of my layout! Baseboard kit is here (needs assembling), train set is under the tree (metaphorically, I suspect it's actually hidden in a wardrobe), and a parcel of extra track bits to get me a little way beyond a basic oval has arrived from Hattons.
Just need to get through the next 5 days of work without going mad - 19th December is not the right time to start installing customers for a new service that kind of technically hasn't been finished developing yet ::) Off then until the 3rd though, so time to play!
Whether you're modelling or not though, have a great Christmas all!
Merry Xmas to everyone.
I'm having a Bah Humbug! one myself as I've had to buy puter stuff and maybe a new TV instead of a DCC wireless controller.

To all members of a religious persuasion enjoy the holiday,
to those of a non religious persuasion (like me ) the same applies .
Anyways enjoy and ignore the galoots on breakfast TV who say that a
couple of days enjoying some food and drink will kill you.
As they old saying goes " There ain't no rehearsal for life . enjoy it
first time round"
So treat yourself to that loco !
Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy the day and if driving drive carefully.
Yep, echoed again from Down Under! Merry Christmas everyone out there in the best Forumland there is.
Here's the Sydney Chrissie tree in Martin Place, Sydney - me thinking: "It's bloody plastic!"

Indeed - a lot of rain. Looks like it is easing off a bit now
Strangely enough we had thunder and rain here in Wollongong today as well! Anyway, suitably full of Christmas tucker, Bealman is turning in for the night. Have a great day over there, folks!
