Hi guys over the last week or so I have had another parcel of acts of kindness to help my project get up and running parcel 1 circle of peco set track curves and a Bachmann dc controller from the same sponsor today I have received in post a 49xx hall 4970 sketty hall gwr green loco that need a new brush the two ladies and children are going love this as they are steam mad to the sender of outstanding gift my sincere gratitude for every thing plus had pm parcel from Spain on route with more goodies its like Christmas here will post pictures soon as I can .mike
Hi just got off the phone from Bachmann Europe spare department they where more than will to give me the brushes required to fix the loco free of charge ty bachmann

Another parcel arrived today with some nice building that need some tlc due to Spanish little vandals breaking the windows LOL And Epping forest is here big thank you to the sender I have everything used in my mind can spilt all lot into some of each and more children take build there own part of layout. mike

Really good to hear that Bachmann is lending a hand. We often think of the manufacturers as being aloof and unhelpful, so it is great news to me that they are willing to help in situations like this, where it costs them little and brings such joy to those who deserve it.
Another job well done! Since the kids are enjoying building things of their own, would they have any interest in building Peco Wagons kits? Also, I can't quite get the pictures to load (may be my phone), but how many children/members are part of the club?

Sorry but I have had to remove all my picture due not understanding how to uploads pictures to the forum I caused a lot of inconvenience for a mod and fellow members and at so its safer for me just to post the written word best I can I hope to set up a link to a third party site so as you guys can view the picture at present I have 8 adult members and about 40 children with varying disabilities and social issues aged between 5 to 23 that will be getting spilt into manageable groups I hope the local council will help financially with a start up and go grant and I have spoken to the representatives of London City Airport and Tate & Lyle with a view of sponsoring the club I do have my local councillor onboard with this project so finger x .mike
I have just received a pm from a fellow member offering me this nice job lot of goodies There are 4 locos. One faulty, 3 runners. 3 US outline, one Japanese (DD40)for the club once again the kindness of this forum is second to none thank you kind sir.mike
