Undoubtedly cool, but I bet it doesn't go.

When I taught science to teenagers, one of the favourite tricks was to put 12V through a pencil to prove that a non metal could conduct electricity. Of course it heated up enough to burn the wood.

My point? Bet it doesn't go cos on 12V it would melt down.
